Sleeve printed by West Brothers London SW10
With yellow one-sided lyric sheet insert
This is an original and authentic copy of this super rare acid folk album by Welsh folk duo Graham & Anne Hemingway, produced by Ian A. Anderson and released in 1970. Original copies of this sought after album in playable condition with lyric sheet are now very hard to find.
The vinyl record is visually graded as being in EXCELLENT condition with only a few very feint sleeve removal and handling type marks. The labels are clean with no tears or stickers and no significant spindle wear.
I have cleaned the record (on a Pro-ject VC S3 machine). On play test, this acoustic record plays cleanly with some quiet background crackles and the occasional pop in places, no sticks or jumps. The record has come from long term storage and had not been played for many years.
The sleeve has ring, edge, corner and shelf wear & minor creasing. There is the remains of a sticker to top right of front sleeve. Spine detail is just about readable. Otherwise, edges are straight and true with no rips or tears. Overall grading is VERY GOOD condition.
The one-sided lyric insert on yellow paper is in EXCELLENT condition with only very minor creasing and ageing. It does not appear to have been handled much.
The generic white paper inner sleeve with detail “MADE IN ENGLAND PATENT No. 1.125.555 is in EXCELLENT Condition.
Please study the pictures which are part of the description. The item you see is what you will receive. I don't use stock photos.
I grade records using the 'Record Collector' grading guide, with additional comments as appropriate.
The item will be sent carefully packed out of the sleeve in a new poly lined inner sleeve and encased in a plastic outer sleeve in a card record mailer with an extra stiffener. I sometimes use recycled card packaging.
I am very happy to answer any specific questions you may have about record condition: I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. I offer a money back guarantee if you're not happy. Please note: most of the records I sell are 25 to 50 years old. I do not play grade every record. This is usually sufficient as in the vast majority of cases as if it looks clean it will play clean. Even those that are play tested may play differently from one record player to another. Sometimes these old pieces of plastic have not been played for many years and may have a crackle or pop in them somewhere. Please factor these considerations in before deciding to purchase.
