Description
Here's an excellent promo copy of an LP by the Super Stocks: "Surf Route 101" (Capitol T-2113). Released in 1964.
Featuring songs by Gary Usher, Roger Christian, and Brian Wilson.
This is the mono release, and it comes with the ultra rare mislabeled bonus 7" which is listed as Mr. Gasser & the Wierdos instead of Mr. Gasser & the Weirdos, which is the correct spelling: "Doin' the Surfink" b/w "Finksville U.S.A." (Pro 2644/5).
This was one of four similar promotions: "Surf Age" by Jerry Cole and His Spaceman (Capitol T-2112) which came with a 45 by Dick Dale, "Spanish Kiss" b/w "Thunder Wave," the Dick Dale LP "Summer Surf" (Capitol T-2111) which came with a 45 by Jerry Cole, "Movin' Surf" b/w "Racing Waves," and "Surf Fink!" by Mr. Gasser and the Weirdos (Capitol T-2114), with a 45 by the Super Stocks, "Midnight Run" b/w "Santa Barbara."
Music by some of the greatest studio musicians of all time: Hal Blaine, Jerry Cole, Glen Campbell, Leon Russell, and Billy Strange. Songs are:

This is a mono promo release and it comes with its original inner sleeve. Jacket in VG condition (some writing on back, some ring wear, minor seam split at bottom, about 2 inches, and some prominent tears on the front). Record is in VG to VG+ condition. Some marks are visible (see photo) but has lots of gloss. Plays with some noise.
The bonus 45 is mislabeled as Mr. Gasser & the Wierdos. It is in EX+ condition. I will ship the bonus 45 in a separate protective sleeve, not in the LP slot as pictured.
