Description
Offered for sale is a pair of rare 7" vinyl record by The Supremes (later Diana Ross & The Supremes).
'Come See About Me / Always In My Heart' was released in the UK on the Stateside label in 1964 (catalogue number SS 376), and peaked at number 27.
'Back In My Arms Again / Whisper You Love Me Boy' was released in the UK on the Tamla Motown label in 1965 (catalogue number TMG 516), and peaked at number 40. As neither single sold in huge quantities, they are both quite hard to find nowadays.
Both records are in pretty good condition considering their age, and both play fine. 'Back In My Arms Again' is in slightly worse condition out of the two. It has been dinked and so has a 45 rpm adapter in the centre. There is also a small cross in pen on the label of the A side (please see the pictures), and there are a few scuffs to the B side vinyl - again please see the pictures.
All 4 sides of the 2 records have a few surface marks and light scratches but they all play without any problems.
Each record is housed in an original company sleeve. The Stateside sleeve has a tear in the left hand side (please see the pictures), but is in acceptable condition. The gold Tamla Motown company sleeve is the better of the two.
All in all, these are pretty good examples of these rare records from The Supremes, that still have plenty of life left in them for a collector or fan.
