THE SUPREMES - I'M GONNA LET MY HEART DO WALKING disco 10" test press acetate different version HEAR
VG single sided 10" metal acetate. 1st inch has hazy look & small dent that doesn't effect play much, this acetate plays better then VG.
Acetate records can be just run off of the master tape for test purposes (to see what the artist thinks), demos or recorded messages.
Recording surface.
The acetate disk's recording surface is very soft, as the records were actually cut on a machine. The material for this surface is generally an acetate-based material, hence the name "acetate." It has a particular musty odour to it, as well. These records are NOT designed for repeated play.
