Description

A great opportunity to buy a copy of a VINYL LP from the 1970’s by The Sweet called "Funny How Sweet Co-Co Can Be".

This is a Teal Record Company (Zimbabwe) pressing released in 1971 on the RCA Victor label (38-345)(stereo). It has a total of 11 tracks (see photos for track listing).

It would appear that the label on side two is a mis-pressing as it spells the word Co-Co as "Co-Oo" (see photo).

The vinyl is in a GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and It is clear that it has been played many times and displays many light scuffs and surface marks, but nothing too serious. I have played both sides in their entirety and they play without sticking or jumping and though there is some light surface noise evident, this is mainly noticeable between the tracks.

The labels are clean and free from any writing or major defects.

The matrix numbers are: - AGBS 0698 (side one) and AGBS 0699 (side two).

The record is housed in a plain white inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition.

The unlaminated flip-back picture cover is in a FAIR condition. There is some shelf wear along the edges and spine, though the text on the spine is just readable ( see photo). There is a 2cm tear at the opening edge and a ring stain in the top corner. The back cover being originally cream in colour, has faded with age and is a little grubby. There is a name written at the top and bottom.

Overall, though not being in the best of condition, it should still be of interest to Sweet collectors due to its foreign pressing.
