One of the First Rock Records Ever Recorded in True Stereo!

This auction is for a great original pressing of the Teddy Bears LP "The Teddy Bears Sing" on Imperial.  This album features the original thick cover with a gloss coating, and is in very nice to excellent condition, with a great cover and great vinyl in really nice condition with most of it’s original gloss and minimum surface wear from play.  The album and vinyl are heavy, reflecting the age of this pressing.

The pictures tell a lot, but my examination and condition observations of this record are noted as follows:

• Cover – overall shows very well.  There is a bit less than half the length of the top seam split, but all other seams are intact, and the top seam does not show from the front or back.  Both front and back are clean with no tears or scratches and much of the original gloss remains.  There is a very slight amount of wear marks on the front cover that to me was only visible upon close inspection under very bright light. The back is also clean, and overall there is a some yellowing at the edges of the back cover from the over 50 years of age, but there are not other major flaws that I can find.
• Vinyl – this record reflects very little play.  Close inspection shows only one significant visible surface line, but I could not hear it affect play.  The gloss on this record is great and is really amazing for a record of this age.

All in all, this is a very nice example of this historic recording.  While it is not mint, it is a very nice copy.  The record has been well cared for and will be carefully shipped in a well protected record shipper shipper.  Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.  Due to the value and rarity of this album, (and also because eBay maxes LPs out at $4.00 shipping which essentially forces Media Mail), shipping and insurance is on me and will be by Priority Mail with shipping free to the buyer. (Priority mail is a lot faster!!).
