Description

TITLE/ARTIST: This ultra rare, four song EP with it's original jacket from the early years of RnR, by The Teenagers featuring Frankie Lymon (before he went solo/lead with the group), and is on the original, red and black Gee Label (GEP-601), from 1956 (see the pics above). The EP (Extended Play) is entitled "The Teenagers Go Rockin'" (his very 1st EP release for Gee Records) - and all four songs are viewable in the label pictures above. I have listed other EPs and 45's in addition to this one in this week's auctions, so please check them out as well. LABEL INFO: This label is very nice with absolutely no issues in need of a mention at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with again, nothing in real need of a mention either - in my opinion, the vinyl is almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. PICTURE SLEEVE/JACKET INFO: The jacket is primarily quite nice and without serious flaws. However, it is not perfect by any means either. There are very small scuff marks in all four corners and seam split along the entire top side only. A previous owner attempted to repair this split with a small strip of scotch tape, which is now slightly discolored (see pics above). The good news is that this tape can be easily removed with products like "Goo-Gone" which are sold at your local drug stores or Walmart. There are no other rips, tears or scuffs - just some early slight signs of aging on the lighter colored backside only, but otherwise, the jacket is just fine. So, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: Again, this EP is really clean and nice, not to mention nearly impossible find anymore (especially as a promo copy), so please have at it. As always, I have NOT listed it with any reserve price - just free and open bidding - good luck!. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$11.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
