The The – Infected (12” LP)

The The are an English alternative/post-punk band. They have been active in various forms since 1979, with singer-songwriter Matt Johnson being the only constant band member. The The achieved critical acclaim and commercial success in the UK, with 15 chart singles (seven reaching the Top 40), and their most successful album, Infected (1986), spent 30 weeks on the chart. They followed this with the Top Ten albums Mind Bomb (1989) and Dusk (1993).

The album is on Epic / Some Bizzare Records, EPC 26770. Matrix side one: EPC-26770-A1 (written). Matrix side two: EPC-26770-B3 (written).
Released in 1986. UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has a few marks and plays with the very odd very light click here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, plays with no jumps or sticks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has a few marks and plays with the very odd very light click here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, plays with no jumps or sticks and minimal crackle).
Cover (glossy): exellent (light corner wear, the odd small edge crease, light rubbing top and bottom of back).
Comes with the original inner sleeve in very good condition - has a creasing bottom right and the odd small stain mark!
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy on return of the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
