An absolute "museum grade" collector’s copy of The The’s 1986 masterpiece, Infected. This is the genuine Limited Collectors Edition featuring the rare "Torture Sleeve" artwork and the original pink hype sticker.

The Standout Collector Feature:
This copy includes the original full-colour poster, which remains completely unused and has never been unfolded since it left the factory in 1986. It is still crisp in its original folds—a condition almost impossible to find 40 years later.

Audiophile Pressing Details:

Mastering: Hand-etched "JA" in the dead wax, confirmed as the definitive first-run cut by legendary mastering engineer Jack Adams at Tape One.

Matrix: EPC 26770 (Original UK First Pressing).

Sleeve: Rare Limited Edition "Torture" artwork version.

Hype Sticker: Original pink "Collectors Edition" sticker intact on the front.

Condition Report:

Vinyl: Near Mint (NM) – Beautiful deep-gloss shine. Appears barely played, if at all.

Poster: Mint / Unused – Never unfolded.

Sleeve: Very good + – Very strong spine and vibrant colours. Slight edge creasing and shelf wear.

Inner Sleeve: Includes original printed lyric inner sleeve.

This is a true "investment grade" copy. The combination of the JA first-press matrix and the untouched poster makes this one of the finest copies of Infected currently available.

Postage & Packaging:
Due to the high value and rare condition, this will be dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery (Insured). It will be professionally packed in a stiff cardboard mailer with extra stiffeners. The vinyl will be removed from the outer sleeve during transit to prevent "seam splits."
