Wow, this is the legendary original first pressing of south african ultrarare psych monster The Third Eye - Awakening ...... Released by Polydor in 1969. Still not too many have seen an original copy as it is so hard to find a playable one. What a superb album: well arranged songs (incl. an over the top cover version of "All along the watchtower"), great fuzz guitars, fantastic vocals .. a real gem!
Disc is in great shape: playing a strong EX+ (and most of the time even M-). Cover is hard to grade, as the front is EX (with just a few minor crinkles in the lamination but otherwise great), On the rear lamination is partly peeling off. Well, for the experienced collector this is nothing unusual as most of the LP's from that part of the world have a similar problem. However, this is the only flaw I need to mention as this gem is otherwise a perfect collector's item!!
