THE TICKLE, SUBWAY (SMOKEY POKEY WORLD)
This is for the now very rare single by the group Tickle, titled Subway (Smokey Pokey World) with "Good Evening" on it's flipside, recorded on the Regal Zonophone lable catalogue No RZ3004.
This great piece of British psych from 1967 was produced by Tony Visconti and written by lead guitarist Mick Wayne who later went on to form Juniors eyes.
The record is in truly fantastic condition with a grading that looks a strong excellent no centre pushed out, no spindle marks, no scratches, no skipping, no clicking, just pure psych heaven, playing excellent on both sides, with just a minor amount of crackle at the start leading up to the intro. Only a very few of these records was ever pressed and the chances of finding another one in this condition has now become very rare, so if this is one you've been looking for, for your collection than look no further you will not find a better one than this I guarentee.
The record has been in my collection this past 17 years and originally came in a plain white sleeve, when I replaced it with a sleeve more suited that was issued just one year later in 68, "white sleeve is still available if required"
There is a reserve price set for this one, which I think is set at a reasonable price below it's true value for such a rarity.
