IF BIDDING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK THEN PLEASE NOTE THAT I USE EBAY'S GSP FOR POSTING. THESE COSTS CAN BE HIGH. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY THESE PRICES THEN PLEASE DO NOT BID. However I am willing to listen to requests to post outside of Ebay through signed-for and tracked. I would recommend using Ebay though as they cover taxes, customs lost items etc. Europe postings will cost £15 for a single item if I send them.
Unfortunately I need to cash in on some of my record collection to help fund my retirement so..........................
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
For auction here is a 7" UK copy of The Tights with "Bad Hearts" coupled with "Cracked and It". This single was released on the Cherry Red label in 1978 cat number Cherry 1. There is a 1mm chip on the edge of the record but, seeing as it doesn't intrude on the run-in grooves, it has no effect on playing the record (well not on my deck anyway). Hopefully it is visible on the scans.
The company sleeve is in a VG+ condition. There are no stickers and no writing. There is a little ringwear so please don't expect a mint copy.
The labels are excellent with no stickers and no writing.
Visually (taking into account the 'chip' ) the vinyl looks excellent . You will struggle to find a mark or scratch on it.
I have played the single both sides and it plays excellent but needs a bit of a clean of the dust.
For playback I use an Ortofon cartridge on a Technics SL1210MK2 through a Denon DRA 375RD amplifier to Wharfdale 3200 speakers.

I am willing to post multiple items abroad which will be tracked and signed-for. Payments for this method go direct through Paypal as Ebay's GSP does not cater for multiple item sales unfortunately.
I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'.
RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerprice rating
