Hello, Friends
You are bidding on a first pressing of Road Apples, signed by the band!  The cover was part of a promotion through the legendary Sam the Record Man record store chain.  Most signed copies were affixed to a cardboard cutout of our illustrious boss, Sam Sniderman, and displayed in the front windows of his stores.  I have seen copies of the artwork alone - creased, ripped, and tape-bedecked listed for upwards of $2000.  This cover was one of very few that remained uncirculated - it was discovered by myself in the promotions room at Sam's head office and was paired with my vinyl shortly afterward.  Note the "LIMITED EDITION L.P." on the front cover, adding to its rarity.
This record is from my personal collection, and has only ever been handled by me.  The disc itself is in beautiful condition and I have chosen not to play it again (I will guess that it has been at least 25 years since a stylus has touched it) to further preserve its integrity. I recall just the faintest amount of surface noise on the last track on side 2, but other than that, it played excellently.  I am not an audiophile, however, and should you wish me to play it for a more accurate audio grading, I will.  If my gradings of any of the aspects of this collectible record are inaccurate, it is not to intentionally mislead the purchaser, but from my inexperience in these matters.  Should you require further clarification of any aspect of this listing, please contact me directly.

PLEASE NOTE: As a music and animal lover, I am happy to inform you that all the proceeds generated from the sale of this record will go to The Appin Cats Project ( https://appincats.ca ), a rescue operation in the village that I live in that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, socialize, and home feral cats in our community.  It is not hard at all parting with this record for these purposes, and I hope that Bobby, Paul, Johnny, and the Gordons would approve of this auction.
