THE TRASHMEN, ‘Surfin’ Bird’ (Garrett, Mono, 1964)
Needing no introduction, Twin Cities legends whose songs (and song titles) would launch a thousand garage and garage-punk bands. Great color cover shot showing the band in full garbage can gimmick with the rear depicting them winning over teens with their swinging sound. THE CRAMPS and RAMONES agree - thee bird is thee word.
CONDITION: VG (two deletion punch bb’s, slight corner and spine wear, foxing, seams strong) /VG+ (slight scuffs and storage wear, labels strong, light scratches)
