The Tremeloes are an English rock and roll band founded in 1958 in Dagenham, Essex.

Here Come The Tremeloes may be the best "forgotten" British album of the 1960's, at least for sheer fun. When Brian Poole quit the Tremeloes in 1966, the conventional wisdom was that the band would soon fold. Instead, with bassist Chip Hawkes and drummer Dave Munden handling the lead vocals, they put out a string of hit singles and this LP on British CBS, which made No. 15 in England (in America, it appeared as Here Comes My Baby on Epic Records). The music is a mix of upbeat rockers ("Here Comes My Baby"), "Good Day Sunshine"), covers of American soul ("Loving You (Is Sweeter Than Ever)"), and unexpectedly strong originals, highlighted by the psychedelic-garage textured "What A State I'm In," and even a killer rendering of "You," an early song by one Gilbert O'Sullivan" that's not only catchy but features some fierce fuzz-tone playing from guitarist Rick Westwood. None of it was the most challenging music coming out of England in 1967, but it's all utterly enjoyable, catchy pop-rock with a sharp edges in some of the playing, tempos, and singing. Original 1967 1st pressing on Epic Records. Not a re-issue, No barcode, This is an original MONO issue. This LP is STILL SEALED in it's original shrinkwrap. There is a clean  punchout hole in the upper right corner and a very small drill hole in the upper left. There is also a "99 cent" price tag stapled at the upper left. Bottom two corners have some very minor bumps, but no wear. The front psychedelic cover has brilliant color and the "white" back cover is clean. LP is in nearly MINT condition. A very beautiful LP!!!
