Description

The Tubes self-titled white label promo LP (A&M 4534; stereo). This 1975 debut LP by the group is an original promo pressing in Mint, unplayed condition on the white labels, which are clean. The cover, which has a promo drill hole in the upper right corner and a promo sticker on the front, is in Mint condition. This special promo version has an edited version of the X-rated song "White Punks on Dope" which the sticker on the front says was "to avoid irate protest from people who don't like to near naughty words." The LP comes with an A&M promo envelope containing an 8x10 inch publicity photo of the group, a two-page record company written biography of the group, a multi-page bio of each band member and a one-page A&M press release. This promo material was only sent to radio stations and reviewers and was not included with commercial copies of this LP. Buyer pays $4 for Media Mail or $16 for Priority postage in the U.S. Postage is $21 to Canada or $25 to any other country outside the U.S.  Multiple purchases shipped together result in big postage savings.
