THE TURTLES Turtle Soup (White Whate/Festival) Australia 1969.
Here's a Very Rare!! Original Australia 60s Pressing of "Turtle Soup" by The Turtles, their final 'studio album'. Really tough to find locally, as it didn't sell many copies here.
It's stickered 'Mono' on the front (part removed), and the label cat's match with the 'mono' numbers on the rear..but alas it plays stereo. I don't think there was ever an official release in mono..so bit of an error here, i'd suspect. I'm pretty sure too, that apart from the US, Australia was the only other country to release this album on Vinyl..back in the day.
The Sleeve design is Single (non-gatefold), laminated on the front. The rear is unique with Q&A with the band members, ie. likes/dislikes etc.. fun stuff!! Prod. by Ray Davies (Kinks).
The Cover is VG- (see pics + zoom), i believe this was an ex-radio station copy, hence it's a bit rough..with a variety of 'wear and tear', writings, sticker marks, discolorations, chipping to the seam, the Vinyl is Excellent, very nice, faint sleeve scuffing..plays great!!
Very difficult to find, don't miss!!
