This is it!!  Original Whippet Sleeve, you are bidding for the ultimate collectible, a 1958 original pressing of Rock & Roll by the Original Robins, and recorded on the rare Whippet Label WLP-703 in High Fidelity. This is the Red and White Label with Red Print, valued for $800+ NM in the Goldmine Price Guide.

The group included lead sing Carl Gardner, Ty Terrell, Grady Chapman, Billy Richards, Roy Richards and Bobby Nunn. This wonderful group became the Original Coasters and Carl Gardner, the last living original member, passed away recently in Florida.

The thick 53 year old album cover is in excellent condition and will be a treasured collectible in anyone's Music Room. The liner notes in back very clean, with barely a hint of discoloration.  There  is some relatively minor spotting on the back, but still very clean and shiny!

The black, shiny record is beautiful and the labels clean, showing few light spindle marks. I inspected the rare record under a 100 watt light and there are several light scratches, but nothing deep. I also played the record just prior to listing and there were no skips, sticks, or pops.

The songs include;

Side 1, Cherry Lips, A Fool In Love, Merry Go Rock, Since I First Met You, Where's The Fire. Side 2,  Out Of The Picture, Hurt Me, Every Night, How Long, All Of The Sudden My Heart Sings


RECORD appears VG (plays more like VG+/VG++)

COVER is a very strong, clean VG++
