VERY GOOD+ (VG+) - Both sides are retained its original high sheen. There are some noticeable superficial marks, hairlines and scuffs (one is very noticeable at the beginning of Side2), but none of them are really audible - overall plays with a light background noise/hiss in quite spots with no alarming audio problems. The vinyl has clean labels.
Cover:
VERY GOOD ++ (VG++) - Original Cardboard Cover. Solid, stiff, intact and presentable having light signs of previous careful use, mostly along the seams and spine. No damages, no tears, no bends or creasing (see picture).
The album is strictly graded and is guaranteed to your satisfaction. Any questions, feel free to ask.

The United States Of America biography
The United States Of America were the brainchild of Joseph Byrd, who in the early 60's, drawn by the avant-garde in New York, became a part of the Fluxus movement and studied with John Cage. He went then to the westcoast to study at UCLA where he met the musicians that would form The United States Of America. In 1965 Byrd realized a series of concerts with fundings from UCLA that combined avant-garde, performance art, ethno-music and rock and that would inspire him to form The United States Of America in 1967. In December of 1967 the band recorded their first and only self-titled record, that presented a mix of avant-garde, choral music, electronic music and psychedelic rock, combined with left-wing lyrics. In contrast to most of the guitar-based rockbands at that time they used strings, keyboards (early synthesizers), electronics,and various audio processors like the ring modulator. After the release of the record in 1968 the band undertook an US tour, but due to personal problems disbanded the same year. Joseph Byrd went on to form Joe Byrd and the Field Hippies, who released an LP, The American Metaphysical Circus, in 1969.

Like new. The vinyl retains its original gloss, and the jacket is clean with no wear nor marks on the label.
EX EXCELLENT
May have a few scuffs or very light scratches which do not affect its playability. May have some minor rubs on the label or spindle. May have some writing on the label which will be noted. May have some slight wear on the jacket but no splits! This is the desirable grade for most collectors.
VG+
VERY GOOD+
The vinyl and cover has light general wear including scratches (may be audible), small splits on the jacket, and some label wear (including writing).

Non-playable!!! Sold for the jacket only, or sold as a "rare" filler copy.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN VINYL WAS THE STANDARD, 20 TO 30% OF ALBUMS CAME OUT OF THE SHRINK WRAP AS BAD PRESSINGS WITH SURFACE NOISE. OBVIOUSLY, SUCH BAD PRESSINGS WOULD NOT BE IDENTIFIABLE THROUGH VISUAL EXAMINATION, NO MATTER HOW CAREFUL
