Description
In the 1960s European market (especially the Netherlands, Germany, and Scandinavia), many 45s were issued in thin paper “fold‑over” sleeves.
Original 1965 Dutch first edition pressing on Tamla Motown (GO 42.597), manufactured by Artone Holland. This is the earliest European issue of The Velvelettes’ classic hit, following the U.S. V.I.P. release in late 1964.”
Vinyl: Shiny and clean with no scuffs, scratches, or visible marks. Surfaces retain full gloss and appear unplayed. Spindle hole shows no signs of wear, indicating minimal handling. Playback expected to be Near Mint.
Labels: Bright orange Tamla Motown labels. One side is clean; the other side has two small blue stickers and two discreet pen “X” marks, likely from a previous owner for identification. These do not affect play but are noted for accuracy.
Sleeve: Original Dutch fold‑over sleeve, opens on three sides. Excellent condition with no tears, stickers, or writing. Crisp edges and strong seams, presenting very well for a 1965 issue.
