Description

Scarce killer acid psych promo 45: THE VELVET NIGHT - VELVET NIGHT b/w I'M SURE HE'LL COME MOST ANYTIME - Metromedia  Records, MM-110, white-label DJ promo, released in 1969 or 1970. Hard acid rock recorded in New York's Record Plant under the guidance  of cult producers Jimmy Curtiss and Steve Kanyon (best-known for their involvement with pop-psych favorites the Hobbits and the New  Hobbits), this Italian-American psych band had one LP in 1970 and has barely been heard since. 

Condition: EX (glossy with a few minimal scuffs and very soft hairlines, and a very tiny 1/16" chip to outer edge of one side, plays EX+;  clean labels).
