Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

About : Ultra Rare Original 1970 MGM UK Press with 1967 US 1st Press Warhol cover!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! Classic UK blue and gold MGM labels!!! Both sides are GREAT with minimal signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has some light spindle marks from general light use over the years!!! BRILLIANT for a 54 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good!!!

Record : Visual -

Spectacular Original 1970 UK Polydor MGM Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks, and just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, sticks OR skips!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle here and there, a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions, and a hint of low level ultra light "bluesman's fag" atmospheric static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! And that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK MGM vinyl!!! An outstanding listen! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!! FANTASTIC for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at least as Very Good++++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original UK stickered 1967 US 1st press Andy Warhol peeled banana sleeve complete with unsplit inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks AWESOME, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO really bad marks AT ALL, NO graffiti, NO writing, NO tears, NO splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few very light signs of ageing such as uniquely laminated by the original owner with a professional machine to protect the original Andy Warhol peelable banana artwork (taken a few nibbles but it’s done a pretty heroic job!), a small amount of light creases and a mild touch of a record imprint, some touches of general age such as a few nibbles around the top of the banana where someone’s tried to peel it through the laminated (thankfully gave up and remains remarkably intact and brilliantly presentable), some lint fibres and dusting to the laminate flipbacks along the edges of the still ultra bright inside with just a few storage spots here and there (remains ultra vibrant after all these years with no writing or graffiti whatsoever), just a little laminate lifting to the centre of the front spine and a little minor seam rubbing in few and far between places from where it has sat on the shelf over the years (minimal and remarkably intact for this super age prone sleeve), a touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can possibly find, but this remains a FANTASTIC Andy Warhol original artwork unpeeled Banana sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as awesome as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : A FANTASTIC earliest ever 1967 US 1st Press import intact uniquely laminated unpeeled Banana sleeve version of this INCREDIBLY RARE classic original 1970 Stereo UK MGM LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS OUTSTANDING AS THIS!!! I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
