THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO 1967 VERVE MONO RARE LAWSUIT BLACK STICKER BAGGY
Very early issue The Velvet Underground & Nico Mono copy in an incredible condition with the Near Mint vinyl, still unpeeled Andy Warhol's design banana sticker and large black lawsuit "The Velvet Underground & Nico Produced By Andy Warhol" with the Verve Records logo. It's impossible to find a Mono copy in such a great condition on eBay. The cover is still in its original protective baggy, which has preserved it very well over the years, protecting it from the ring wear. There're only some light marks at the bottom right corner on the back of the sleeve and light corner / edge wear, which are hard to avoid. The baggy has a yellow "THIS AMAZING TRUE HIGH FIDELITY RECORDING..." banner at the bottom. 1st print misprint Mono Verve labels are in Near Mint condition and have only a couple of very faint spindle marks. Misprint timing on the "I'll Be Your Mirror" track on Side 2. The dead wax has the main identifier of the 1st pressing, a block-looking "S" symbol. Matrix numbers: Side 1 - V5008 SIDE 1 MG558REV Block-looking "S" symbol; Side 2 - V5008 SIDE 2 MG559. This copy features an original Verve inner sleeve. The sparkling vinyl has barely a few very light marks and is very clean, having a very light non-feelable hairline on Side 2, which doesn't affect the fantastic sound in any way. Warm, soft, true analog sound.
