Description

What a RARE FIND we have here!!  Thank you for looking....you are bidding on an ultra rare ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS MONO copy of The Velvet Underground & and Nico produced by Andy Warhol. Verve V-5008 from 1967 U.S. pressing.  Comes complete with Eric Emerson torso which was quickly banned and pulled off the market, and banana peel slowly and see sticker.  This original gatefold does have wear including some spine paper loss near bottom.  All the print is still there and readable however.  There is an 1-1 1/2" seam split on top seam at opening side.  Front gatefold section where the record is not located is split down the whole length on opening side.  The banana sticker is all there except for the stem section which is missing as you can see.  There is NO writing anywhere!  Very clean for its age!  Comes with original inner Verve sleeve.  The record has some minor marks but looks and plays great!!    VERY RARE!!!   NO PROMO CUTS!!  This is ORIGINAL and NOT a cheap copy or new re-issue.   This is almost impossible to find in any condition.  Great for the music collector or collector of Lou Reed and RARE record albums!!  ALL ORIGINAL HERE!!!
