Description
1967 Verve Records V-5008, The Velvet Underground & Nico- Self-Titled lp. Original pressing with torso pic on back cover. Cover has banana peeled, tape on both top seams, scotch tape residue on banana as seen, heavy surface wear. Bottom seams show hard wear but are still intact. Cover grades vg-. Record has a lot of scratches, particularly on the b-side. The vinyl gets a visual grade of g due to all the scratches. Most of the scratches are too light to feel with a fingernail. There are two deeper scratches, one in Run Run Run and the other in Heroin. Run Run Run played through okay on my turntable but Heroin had one skip. I spot played other parts of the album and there was surface noise but it didn't overpower the music. Again, please note- this record may skip on your turntable.
