Description
I've collected this album for 7+ years and have probably sold around 100 or more copies. One of the best things about this particular record is the personality its previous owners impart on it. Such as the peeled banana art (some people liked to style the peel), the hand-made liner notes and the doodles.
I call this one "Amoeba" due to the cellular-organism-like blue pen doodles on the back cover. Yay retracting pseudopods! Warhol's art lives on with these albums in myriad ways.
This release is from 1968, a deep-groove West Coast pressing that has Emerson's airbrushed torso.
Stereo V6-5008 release, West Coast press (i.e. "L. Reed" song credits), runout is as follows:
Side A: "V6-5008 SIDE-1 MGS-558 REV"
Side B, "V6-5008 SIDE-2 MGS-559"
Vinyl G+: Vinyl has a lot of light marks and scratches and some background noise. Labels look very nice aside from some spindle wear.
Cover Fair: Banana is totally peeled. There's some pen doodling on the front and back covers. Two of the four seams have splits and the spine has heavy wear in places. One of the corners on the back cover has some bits missing.
Generic inner.
