THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO Stereo TORSO East Coast pressing 1967 1st U.S. edition. 
TORSO pressing featuring actor Eric Emerson on the back cover. The image was quickly stickered over then airbrushed after Emerson demanded payment. Iconic 1st U.S. pressing on Verve Stereo released in 1967.
East Coast pressings as indicated by the "Side 1 and Side2" as opposed to "Side A & Side B" of the West coast pressing. Banana has been peeled, but the cover itself is in great condition, no splits and very little yellowing!!

VINYL in VG+ condition with some light hairlines and paper scuffs only. The only issue is a small scratch at the very beginning od Side 1 song 1 where there is a repeating click for 13 times then stops. Vinyl would be graded VG++ without this issue, the rest is fabulous sound quality, even the quieter tracks like "Heroin" sound excellent with very little surface noise!!

COVER in VG+ condition with fully peeled banana, corner bumps, yellowing and some chipping starting on the spine, the title is faded but legible. Seams are pretty solid. a small 1" split starting on the top seam in the middle where record started to come through, 1" chipping on bottom seam near the spine. All other seams fully intact. The inner gatefold has slight yellowing, owner's name written in pen above song titles (see photos).

Record will be shipped in proper mailer with cardboard strengtheners. Record mailed outside the sleeve to avoid splitting.
