Description


A copy of the 1967 Verve V6-5008 Stereo LP The Velvet Underground & Nico featuring the original Andy Warhol silkscreen banana sticker cover. This is a West Coast pressing of the record (Side "A"and "B" vs East Coast version of "Side 1" and "Side 2") with the torso airbrushed out on the back cover. The banana has been fully peeled off. The original inner sleeve has been lost. 
Condition*:  Cover = VG to G+, glossy, splits to top edges, some light soiling, corners lightly bumped (top left more so), original owner signature on inside, banana sticker fully peeled (see pics for accurate reflection of condition).                       Record = G+, light surface noise (especially on Side A), 2 quick skips in "I'm Waiting for the Man"     *Note: I am not a professional, only an enthusiastic collector, but I try to be as objective and conservative as possible with my grading which I do visually and with listening.
