MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Liberty Records Extended Play very first Mono press released, made and distributed in Argentina in 1965 by Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales Odeon S.A.I.C. (Odeon Records Argentina), licensed from Liberty Records Inc., USA, catalog number 33LEP 612, with machine etched matrix numbers 33-LIB 1808 in Side A and 33-LIB 1809 in Side B, with white/green Liberty Records labels and solid center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from South America!!!

The first to tell about this 4-Tracks EP is that it was ONLY RELEASED IN ARGENTINA, in 1965, and all songs were taken from the LP “The Ventures A Go Go”, also released in 1965. Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, except “Wooly Bully” which doesn’t need translation, with full credits for songwriters and play time of each song, with additional information about rights society in Argentina, “COMAR” and licenses. It’s interesting to notice that name of the band is written in Spanish, “LOS VENTURES”, and this record plays at 33 1/3 RPM. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE and UNIQUE 4-TRACKS EP by The Ventures RELEASED ONLY IN ARGENTINA, with Spanish-written song titles and white labels, a record almost never seen and maybe auctioned here in eBay by the very first time!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of The Ventures!!!

This record doesn’t come with a cover. The record is in VG- or VG condition both sides, not so glossy but clean, with many scuffs, hairlines and light scratches of all sizes and in all directions, which amazingly don’t affect play at all. Labels are in nice VG or VG+ condition both sides, clean and clear, with minimal spindle hole wear and evident age browning, with the names of some past owners written in both sides. The sound is in strong VG- or VG condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and some light occasional clicks, more regular in the song “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, which don’t cause major distraction from the still loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, sure this record could not to be for strict Minty minds or audiophiles, but this is still a record with a nice look, clean and fully readable labels and with still a very decent and respectable sound quality after about 54 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the level of rarity of this EP!!! And don’t forget this MEGARARE and UNIQUE 4-tracks EP was ONLY RELEASED IN ARGENTINA and it has Spanish-written song titles, it’s a record almost never seen and now you have the chance to get and own it!!! We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP10 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.
