The Verve, Urban Hymns
Original 1997 UK Hut Recordings 2 x vinyl LP set housed in envelope "mailer" sleeve, HUTLPX45 / HUT LP 45.
Limited to 5,000 copies.
Vinyl visually glossy with minimal light scuff marks and greyish patina inherent in the press. No deep marks or scratches.
Playback VG. Occasional low to mid-level crackle and soft to mid-level tick, infrequent and not obtrusive. Mainly noticeable to separator bands and quieter intros/areas. Not noisy throughout and much plays cleanly. Background noise is noticeable but doesn't detract significantly from listening pleasure.
Labels are clean.
Inner sleeves EX and free of splits.
External sleeve on the whole clean and tidy and around VG plus. No glaring flaws but starting to show signs of wear. Light wear to edges and some pinch line creasing leading in from edge areas. No heavy wear.
External "mailing" sleeve also on the whole clean and tidy. Some edge and tip wear and bumping, mainly to top edge but no heavy wear or scuffing. A few very small marks and hairline impressions but no stains of note. A largish sticker removal shadow to top right corner but not obtrusive as blends in with background quite well.
