This album is the 1970 release of THE VERY BEST OF THE LOVIN' SPOONFUL, in stereo. The album itself is in Near Mint condition. Albums are graded as follows from the top down: Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus, Very Good, Good, and Poor. Finding an album in Mint condition is extremely rare for vintage albums, and Near Mint is also rare, especially for an album from 1970. Thus, you won't find this album in this condition that often.
The album has only been played a few times so even the often seen handling signs of smudges, fingerprints, and surface scratches are generally not present. It is definitely investment value.
The Very Best of the Lovin' Spoonful is a compilation album of THE LOVIN" SPOONFUL hits spanning their career through the 1960s and the 1970s. The cover features clay sculptures of the band, with the bands signature lack of eyes, nose or mouth sculpted by Ollie Alpert and photographed by Bob Bailey. The motive is a clay remake of the cartoon image of the earlier "The Best of the Lovin' Spoonful" album.
The album contains the band's signature songs "Do You Believe in Magic" and "Daydream".
