extremely rare orig. Jamaican vinyl LP released in the mid 1960s on white/black STUDIO 1 label with catalognumber S 1001.  See matrixnumbers below ... The record plays really well, is not scratched, and does carry the expected level of background crackle, although not enough to detract from the music. Cover and vinyl in fantastic nearmint condition - best copy I have seen in many years. (See my note on Jamaican pressings below...) This was the Wailers' first album, and the music speaks for itself portraying the raw emotion and talent associated with the young Wailers. Don't miss this rare famous Reggae masterpiece... Disclaimer:  Jamaican pressed Reggae records are unlike any records pressed in the world.  Much of the time records would come from the plant in a condition less than mint. If there are pressing defects typical of Jamaican presses (ie: bubbles, crooked labels, discoloring) I will not make note....  If the defects seem to be caused by the records previous owner, I will consider that in grading.  Whilst there are not many true nearmint/mint records of this type around, note that even these oddly pressed records most often sound fantastic. Something about the tape used to record the original masters make Jamaican Reggae records unique...
