THE WALKIN' BLUES
1952 dirty record !
You might have heard this on one of the many compilations of risqué R&B tracks from the early '50s. The tune "The Walkin' Blues (Walk Right In, Walk Right Out)" is a clever one, taking your mind straight to the gutter in three easy steps. Released in March of 1952 it didn't hit the charts, but it did earn quite a reputation with dirty song collectors. The band is Jesse Powell, the vocal here is by Fluffy Hunter (sounds like a stripper, don't it?) who would also have a few records under her own name on Federal.
On the flip you'll hear Jesse Powell and his original tune "Love Is A Fortune."

CONDITION: V+ / E As with many jukebox records, the topside got all the wear, and the flip is like new. The sound sample is the most worn side, and it still sounds great !
