Our special, varied collection of Film & TV Soundtrack Recordings and Cast Recording LPs has been well-preserved with vinyl that is mostly in Near Mint or Mint condition. Stored in a non-smoking environment, we have in stock a wonderful sampling of memorable stage, film and TV productions! We indicate catalog number, release year, Stereo or Mono, Double LPs or Boxed Sets, unique and rare Promotional, Demo cut, Sample or Special DJ copies, Gatefolds (always pictured), Sealed or Un-played, original company sleeves, and we cite and identify special inserts, booklets and other press materials. Some were actually used at radio stations KNBR and KFRC here in the San Francisco Bay Area and those specific markings and notations are either pictured or noted in our descriptions. We like the extra added historical import of records that were handled in this manner, and we hope you do as well! All our records are original pressings unless otherwise noted. Wells’ novel (1898) like no one had before, by turning it into a prog-rock musical and featuring narration from Richard Burton, vocals from David Essex (“Rock On” 1973) and Justin Hayward (Moody Blues) among others. Wayne wrote the music and the lyrics were written by Gary Osborne, who was Elton John’s post-Bernie Taupin collaborator. This album is the No. 38 best-selling U.K. album of all time. Sadly, the original booklet has been abducted by the Martians. All our LP’s are FIRST PRESSINGS unless otherwise indicated.
