Description

This LP is getting very difficult to find.

It's on the UK Dandelion label and is by a UK band called The Way We Live. It's entitled 'A Candle For Judith' and was released in 1971. The music is superb throughout.

It's a stereo recording and the catalogue number is DAN 8004.

OUTER SLEEVE - The gatefold sleeve is in fine condition with some minor wear on front and back. It states on the inner cover 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patent Pending'. The edges and spine are in fine condition but do show some minor wear. There is some minor scuffing along the top edge but this doesn't detract from the overall quality. The wording along the spine is 99% readable. I've graded the sleeve Ex-.

INNER BAG - Paper die cut sleeve with inner clear polythene bag. It states on one side 'PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS...ETC - British Patent No. 800513 & 973939 - MADE IN ENGLAND'. I've graded the inner bag Ex.

RECORD - The record is in superb condition. It has been played a few times. There are some very light superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with some minor surface noise and one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.

LABELS - The labels are - side one - the original multi-coloured Dandelion type with no credits - side two - white background with black wording - track listings and credits for both sides. It states on side two - 'Produced by John Brierley'. There are some minor spindle marks on both sides around the hole. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - DAN-8004-A1 (stampers A 4) - side two - DAN-8004-B1 (A 0) - The stampers are not 100% clear but I think I've got them right. I've graded the record as Ex+ which I believe is very fair.

I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.
