ECHOES OF SILENCE: VG+
HOUSE OF BALLOOONS: VG TO VG+

CONDITION OF BOX: VG-
LABEL: Universal Republic Records
COMMENTS: Rare numbered (#230/500) box set with six records, three art photo prints, three original inner sleeves (which means three are possibly missing) and three gatefold covers. In other words, everything in the first photo is what's included. Does not include the lithograph that resembles the cover of the box. One of the "Thursday" discs is VG- with heavy scuffing and a feel-able scratch--a quick playtest yielded surface noise/clicks/pops that were audible (especially at quiet parts) but not overbearing when the music was loud. One of the "House of Balloons" discs is VG with scuffing. All the other vinyl is VG+. The three inner sleeves have some splitting at the sides and are in otherwise fine shape. The gatefold covers and lithographs are in nice shape. The box has scuffing on the front, creasing at the top, general wear and then a tear on the side flap that causes part of it to be loose, hence the VG- grade. See photos for details. The flap can still be tucked in but it needs to be handled with care to ensure it doesn't incur further damage.

GRADING
MINT - Only used for sealed LPs.
NM - Only the slightest signs of wear to LP and cover.
VG+ - Vinyl will have light scuffs or marks that don't hinder playback. Cover will show light wear (small seam split, minor stain, minor ring-wear, minor tape, etc.)
VG - Vinyl will have visible, often mild surface wear that may result in some surface noise. Cover will have noticeable wear (ring-wear, light tape, minor tears, small seam splits, etc.)
VG- - Vinyl will have moderate to heavy scuffing that should cause no skips, but a fair amount of surface noise. Cover will have extensive wear (extensive tape and/or seam-splits, heavy ring-wear, water damage, tears, etc.)
G - Vinyl will have very heavy scuffing and some deep scratches. It might play with a skip or two. Cover will show major wear.
POOR - Vinyl is borderline unplayable. Expect possible skips and jumps. Cover will have major defects.
