Description
This auction is for a White Stripes hand painted Let's Shake Hands single. It's the 3rd pressing of The White Stripes famous single from Italy Records. This was hand painted by Italy Records' very own Dave Buick. Who was involved with creating the initial, much sought out for 15 copies with Jack White. These are a rare run and this copy is hand numbered copy #11. The auction also includes the original stenciled type sleeve from the 3rd pressing. The stenciled sleeve is hand numbered copy #471. This also includes the original George Washington quote insert.
It looks as if Dave used a collage of different art supplies to create the hand painted cover. Spray paint, acrylic paint, different colored markers, and a stamp on a thick stock cardboard cover. He also numbered and signed the inside of the sleeve.
Both sleeves are in excellent condition all around and the vinyl's never been played. This single will be packed extremely well to assure safe travels to it's destination.
