Originally released in 2001, this classic compilation of Detroit garage rock was produced entirely by Jack White, in his original Third Man Studio (which, at the time, was basically his home). It features exclusive tracks by every significant band on the Detroit scene at the time, including The Dirtbombs, The Soledad Brothers, The Detroit Cobras, The Hentchmen, The Come Ons, The Von Bondies, and The White Stripes themselves (contibuting the track Red Death at 6:14, which was otherwise only available as a very limited edition 7" via Mojo Magazine).

The album is still available on CD, but was printed in very limited quantities on vinyl, and has long been out of print on that format. At the time of writing, I could not find a single vinyl copy for sale on either Amazon or eBay

The vinyl and sleeve are both in NM condition - just like new. I bought the record myself in 2002, played it only once, and have stored it very carefully ever since. It's a great copy of a very scarce record!

I pride myself on packaging records well, and will do my utmost to ensure that this item reaches the winning bidder in exactly the condition I've described. I automatically remove discs from their sleeves (to avoid seam-splitting in transit), and thoroughly waterproof each package, just in case it ends up being delivered during a downpour (I've had records ruined by rain, so I know how frustrating it can be). I also use purpose-made, reinforced record boxes, as opposed to those flimsy 12" envelopes, which never protect the corners properly...

The starting price is low, and there is No Reserve on this item.
