Description
This is a 12" test pressing of The Whitney Family Land of 1000 Dances LP on Warner Brothers/Curb Records BSK-3307 from 1979. I have never played it and the vinyl looks perfect. I'm sure it wasn't played often and may not have ever been played at all. The cover is a plain white cardboard sleeve often used for these kind of recordings. The record is in a plastic inner sleeve. I collected everything Sugarloaf related. Sugarloaf lead singer and keyboardist Jerry Corbetta co-produced this LP with Jerry Goldstein, who worked with War. The Whitney Family began singing together in 1971, toured the US, played Las Vegas, and were on The Midnight Special among other things. They also released an album prior to this in 1977. I do not believe this LP was ever released. It is a definite disco rarity.
