Original UK 1966 12" LP very early pressing on the REACTION label, MONO 593 002
Matrix Numbers : Side 1 593002 A//2 Side 2 593002 B//1
A rare very early pressing of this mid-60's rock/mod classic on the coveted REACTION label, the rarity value accentuated by just how few copies were sold on this label
and it was not until the re-issue on the Track label that this album then sold in much larger quantities.
The appearance of both sides of the vinyl is very good, with much of the original sheen being retained. But held in a brighter light and at the right angle it is clear to see that this record
has had a good number of plays - there are spider lines and small scuff marks and in places the vinyl has lost a little of it's sheen. But nothing nasty or below the surface and for a 50
year old piece of vinyl which has received it's fair share of plays the overall appearance is still very good. The matt textured labels are clean and virtually unmarked apart from some spindle traces
which are visible adjacent to the centre hole.
The quality of the audio is very good minus : what I mean by that is that there is some obvious deterioration in the sound quality. No skips, jumps, or loud clicks but there is background crackle, which
although worse and most noticeable at the beginning of each side is nonetheless still noticeable most of the time throughout most of the tracks. Still a rollicking good listen but far from perfect.

Similarly with the laminated (both sides) Ernest J. Day outer sleeve : the rich vibrancy of the colours on the front of the sleeve are fully intact, all writing (back and front) is perfectly legible,
the edges and corners are still well defined with just minimal scuffing, but there is noticeable creasing (mostly laminate creasing) on both sides, making the condition of the outer sleeve very good only.
Comes complete with plain white protective inner.

On the subject of postage, I take great care in the packaging of all items, using a proper vinyl cardboard mailer along with at least two cardboard stiffeners. I take great care in removing the record from the outer sleeve in order to prevent sleeve damage in transit. I do NOT profiteer from postage costs. I DO take great care in minimising all risk thereby ensuring, as far as possible, that your purchase reaches it's destination in exactly the same condition as when I post it. For this item postage & packaging will be Royal Mail 1st class : UK £3, continental Europe £6, and Rest of the World £10 (Russia = Rest of the World, by the way) : NOTE THAT FOR ITEMS SELLING FOR MORE THAN £40 I INSIST UPON "SIGNED FOR" P&P WHICH ADDS A FURTHER £2-3 ONTO POSTAGE COSTS, DEPENDENT UPON LOCATION. Mint
Description: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent
Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good
Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good
Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
Fair
Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor
Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad
Description: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
