Description
The Who started their recording career in 1965 on the Brunswick record label and this is a nice original copy of their very first single I Can't Explain (written by Pete Townshend), backed by Bald Headed Woman. This copy is enhanced by having FIRST PRESS matrices and stampers.

The vinyl has retained its gloss - there are numerous very light scuffs on each side, but these have no effect on playback, which is faultless on both sides, with no surface noise. The labels are clean - some spindle marks, but the spindle hole is good. The original Brunswick sleeve has ring wear, but is clean and sound.
All in all this is a nice piece of pop history.
