THE WHO "LIVE AT LEEDS" LP Rare 1st BLACK STAMP w Inserts UK 1970 TRACK 2406 001
The Who's first live album (and only live album released with their best-known line up of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon) recorded at the University of Leeds Refectory on February 14th, 1970 and released on May 23rd of the same year. The cover was pressed to look like a bootleg recording with a simple, almost anonymous, design. Inside the gatefold card sleeve is eleven (of the twelve) original inserts/memorabilia documenting The Who's history during that time.
This one is the first U.K. pressing with the black ink stamp on the cover (blue and red came later), only 300 copies were made.
