THIS IS A RARE RECORD TO FIND AS IT SOLD IN SMALL QUANTIES UPON ITS RELEASE.  IT  IS A ORIGINAL 1967 UK STEREO 1ST PRESSING (A2//B1 MATRIX) AND THE FULLY LAMINATED 1ST PRESS ERNEST J. DAY SLEEVE.

The vinyl is visually graded in excellent condition in one side and in very good minus condition on the other. Side 1 looks bad as it has a lot of marks but I have played the record in my humble equipment and it sounds excellent just with some crackle in the quieter parts. I am still surprised of the quality of these old pressings. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is over 55 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.

The black/silver rough Track labels are in excellent minus condition.

The original 1st press Ernest J. Day fully laminated sleeve is in very good condition with creases and heavy corner wear in the bottom left as seen in the photos.

The spine is fully legible but split in the bottom corner.

Play-grading MONO records: Mono records and stereo records have different grooves. A stereo record produces a stereo sound via both lateral and vertical groove modulation whereas a mono record is not intended to produce any sound from vertical modulation. Playing a mono record with a stereo cartridge will create distortion because it is trying to pick-up the vertical (stereo) part of the signal, whereas this is not intended to be heard on a mono record and so is just noise.  Using a pre-amp with a mono switch will eliminate the noise caused by vertical modulation leaving just the lateral groove signal which is how the record was intended to be heard. If you do not have a mono switch on your amp or pre-amp you will be reproducing the noise from the vertical part of the signal and so the record will not sound as good. This is not any fault of the record, it is inherent to playing any mono record through a system that it was not designed for.

Visually Graded Vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect. Unless specified all my vinyl is visually graded

Guide to grades used

Mint
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.

Good
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
