A BLUE PRINTED COVER (THICKER THAN LATER RE-PRESSINGS!), AND A 1ST PRESS 'LIVE AT THE MARQUEE' POSTER (LATER ONES WERE 'LIVE AT LEEDS
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN REALLY NICE CONDITION   EVEN THE COVER IS IN GREAT CONDITION - WITH NO GRUBBYNESS, NO YELLOWING, AND HAS BEEN KEPT IN A PLASTIC COVER SINCE NEW  AND THE INSERTS & ULTRA RARE 'MARQUEE' POSTER HAVE REMAINED IN AMAZING CONDITION - BEING UNTOUCHED INSIDE THE COVER FOR 45YEARS.

THE DISC HAS RETAINED ALL OF IT'S ORIGINAL LUSTRE AND LOOKS TOTALLY FLAWLESS UNDER NORMAL LIGHT THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE ON THE SURFACE OF THE DISC. UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION THERE ARE A FEW WISPY HAIRLINES.

SIDE 1. DOSE NOT SEEM TO HAVE HAD MUCH PLAY [IF ANY] & SOUNDS SUPERB NO POPS,SKIPS OR JUMPS, THERE IS A TINY AMOUNT OF CRACKLE IN QUIETER PASSAGES ONLY IF YOU ARE LISTENING FOR IT.
SIDE 2.PLAYS GREAT ALTHOUGH THERE IS ONE SKIP ON TRACK 1.THE REST PLAYS GREAT, SOME MINOR CRACKLE & POPS IN QUIETER PASSAGES.
THE LABELS
THE WHITE LABELS ARE ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. THE WHITE IS PURE WHITE AND TOTALLY UNSOILED. THE BLUE TYPEFACE IS UNRUBBED AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THE SPINDLE HOLE IS ALSO TOTALLY UNWORN, AND THE BASE WHITE COLOUR FULLY STRETCHES INTO IT. A CLOSE EXAMINATION AROUND THE HOLE SHOWS 1-2 SPIDER LINES BARELY VISIBLE INDICATING THAT THE RECORD HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED

This Cover’s Potential for Wear: Very High: Flimsy, delicate, easily damaged and torn. Also this rustic paper tends to age with discolouration .
Cover Grade and Format:  EXCELLENT: and covers hardly get much more basic. A very flimsy gatefold with inside single stapled (on each face) for the retaining ‘pouch’. Unlaminated with the more elusive  blue ink stamp on the front that looks hand-stamped, also blue inside as seen in close-up. These also vary immensely with some being more filled in and clearer. Even the position changes from cover to cover. This was supposed to look ‘hand-stamped’ and probably was, the ultimate bootleg lookalike. Made with very wear-prone soft matt brown card that always wears very badly. It was printed and made by MacNeill Press. This cover was deliberately made to basic, even ‘home-made’ to resemble a bootleg any ageing or marks almost improves this cover giving the format more character and making the spoof more complete. Has a bit of wear to top left a little ragged.
The Poster: MINT(–): Unmounted, untorn or split, clean, uncreased (bar the original two manufactured folds of course), all edges sharp and foldlines unstressed as new. The most elusive of the inserts as this was often mounted on walls, this is the best original poster I have ever seen. Even the back is as new, untoned or marked.
