The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks…         

The sleeve/ inners /poster etc are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT. (EX) 

The record shows only a few signs of having been played, with little 

lessening in sound quality…    

The sleeve may have slight wear and /or minor creasing.                                     

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) 

The record shows signs that it has been played with some light surface 

markings, but no major deterioration in sound quality…

The sleeve may have some edge/corner wear and/or minor creasing. 

VERY GOOD.(VG)  

The record shows signs of play with more obvious surface markings.  

Surface noise may be evident in some intro/quieter passages, but there will be no major deterioration of sound quality…

The sleeve will have no major defects, but more obvious edge/corner wear, 

creasing, or age related discolouration. 

GOOD PLUS (G+)

The record will have more noticeable groove wear, scuffs and perhaps  occasional mild scratches. The record will play through without skips, but will have more noticeable surface noise…

The sleeve may suffer from pronounced wear to the edges /creasing/ discolouration / possible spine splits.
