THE WHO "MY GENERATION" 1980s U.K. exact reissue of RARE 1965 mod classic LP featuring "The Kids Are Alright", "My Generation" + 10 more great tracks. Brunswick mono LAT 8616. M/M.
The top Mod group in England in the 1960s was undoubtedly The Who. This record features the seminal four piece line-up of Peter Townshend , songwriter & lead guitarist, Roger Daltrey on vocals, John Entwistle on bass & Keith Moon on drums. First known as the High Numbers, they began to make inroads into the London Beat Scene after changing their name to the Who & hooking up with Shel Talmy as producer for this first album. Originals are now a much sought after & expensive rarity. Recorded in monaural, this LP was released in a somewhat different form by Decca in the U.S. Highlights of this LP include "The Kids Are Alright", "A Legal Matter", the iconic title track & "I'm A Man", the Bo Diddley song leftt off the U.S. album. This 1980s pressing is an exact reissue of the 1965 U.K. Brunswick mono original which now commands over hundreds dollars in decent condition.

Looks unplayed! Vinyl still retains its original sheen- rated MINT. The replica black Brunswick labels look great but have a "new" quality that indicate it is a 1980s exact reissue pressing.
