Description
The Who My Generation LP UK Brunswick LAT 8616 from 1965-original first press with matrix MG-10256-1B/MG-10257-2B.
A nice copy.The cover is in really good condition.The front cover has a crease in the bottom left corner and a few tiny ones-also the first signs of ringwear but nevertheless it retains a strong feel and looks great.Spine is fine!And the rear cover is one of the best I've seen for a long time.There is a name in the top left corner and a bit of staining top right but the overall appearance is nice and clean-most copies suffer from browning and a general grubbiness-all factors caused by this being a cover made from very thin card compared to most LP covers.Grades around VG+toEX-.
The disc has a good number of hairlines and small scratches/marks but it retains that clean underlying sheen and having given it a quick play it sounds great on my admittedly ordinary system.Label has a bit of spindle play and a small faint pair of initials on one side.Grades around VG.
Overall a nice copy of this classic original UK debut LP.Very nice looking cover and a disc that has a good few marks but still looks pretty good and plays very nicely.
