MY GENERATION
1st UK press of The Who's iconic debut album.
First pressing indicators:
Black Brunswick labels with silver print.
Sleeve with 'Clarifoil' lamination on the front and 1cm onto the rear over the spine.
Rim text at the top, "ORIGINAL RECORDING AND LICENSED BY DECCA RECORDS INC. NEW YORK U.S.A."
* Tax code "M/T" at right
• "℗ 1965" at left
• N.C.B. and B.I.E.M. codes appear in boxes stacked vertically above "M.C.P.S." at the left.
Cat# appears as 'LAT 8616' on the cover and as 'LAT.8616' on the labels.
The "KT" tax code is at 12:00.
Issued with inner sleeve, printed one side only, with four boxed panels of information. At the top is 'IMPORTANT!' At the bottom, 'PLAYING SPEED 33 1/3 r.p.m' British patent No. 800513. In the lower left is a date-code in the form month/year.

Condition:
Vinyl/labels: VG
There are some hairlines/surface marks visible, but the record plays really well - to a strong VG standard - with no skips/jumps, and only a little light background in between tracks; overall, a great listen with no serious faults to mention. Great audio quality - sounds superb. Play tested throughout.
Sleeve/Original Inner: VG+
The sleeve has some light ring wear/corner wear and there are small, light creases at the edges. There is light edge wear and a couple of very small tears at the opening edge. The rear sleeve has slight age discolouration. The inner sleeve has light ring wear/creasing.
Important Information: Postage & Packaging
Records are packaged safely using strong stiff cardboard and extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in the same condition as in my description. I also remove record from outer sleeve and original inner sleeves, to prevent seam splits. I am a record collector myself and understand the importance of safe packaging to ensure safe delivery.
