The Jacket is graded VG+ with solid seams and title edge, with some minor corner wear and paper wrinkling along the edges (the top edge has a very short split next to the gate opening). Other than some minor signs of aging, this Jacket is in Excellent condition!!

All of the open LP's we sell include brand new Phoenix DISKEEPER anti-static inner sleeves, and brand new Phoenix ULTIMATE clear protective outer Jacket sleeves.

We pack our LP's with the Vinyl on the outside of the Jacket and inside the clear Jacket sleeve to prevent seam damage during transport. We also ship our LP's in custom heavy-gauge cardboard mailers with bubble wrap as needed.

Shipping, packing and handling for this item will be $5.00 Media or $8.00 Priority, anywhere in the Continental US Only. International shipping and handling cost will be determined at the time of sale. We do offer automatic shipping discounts for multiple item purchases. Our packing is very meticulous and professional to assure safe arrival of your items.

International shipping rates are sometimes difficult to estimate. Typically, Air Letter Post WORLDWIDE is $14.00 for the first LP (CANADA is $6.65 for the first LP) Insured shipping requires Parcel Post. If we are able to ship to your destination for less than we estimate, we will REFUND the excess shipping charges directly back to the buyer via paypal. Now how many sellers offer that? We charge the actual shipping rates plus $2.00 packing and handling to cover the cost of new custom rigid cardboard mailers and bubble wrap, etc..

ECONOMY POST is available for International shipments, BUT, is not an advised shipping method! 

Insurance is offered and highly recommended, for an additional $1.35 (Domestic) for the first $50.00 coverage. Uninsured items that arrive damaged are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. We will not be held liable for uninsured items. Albeit, we've never had any real shipping problems to report. For some high-end auction items, Insurance is required or automatically included in the shipping cost. All Domestic uninsured items include Delivery Confirmation in lieu of Insurance.

***  GOLDMINE GRADING GUIDE:  ***

Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way - certainly never played, possibly even still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, if at all.

Near Mint (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this, implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like. Basically, an LP in Near Mint condition looks as if you just got it home from a retail store and removed the shrink wrap. Near Mint is the highest price listed in all Goldmine price guides. Anything that exceeds this grade, in the opinion of both buyer and seller, is worth significantly more than the highest Goldmine book value.

Excellent (EX): Excellent falls between VG++ and NM- and is typically worth 75 percent of the Near Mint value.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Generally worth 50 percent of the Near Mint value. A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that don't affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. LP inner sleeves will have some slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may also have slight signs of wear and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable. A synonym used by some collectors and dealers for "Very Good Plus" is "Excellent."

Very Good (VG): Generally worth 25 percent of the Near Mint value. Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a Very Good disc. Surface noise will be evident on playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+): Generally worth 10-15 percent of the Near Mint value. Good does not mean bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white). A jacket or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

*****  PERSONAL COMMENTS  *****

I’ve been collecting various types of recorded music, books and videos for nearly 30 years, and have amassed a collection of several thousand books, LP‘s and other media. I’ve only recently started to sell-off portions of my collections here on ebay. I am not a self-professed vinyl record expert by any means, however, I am a self-taught musician (drummer) and inherent music lover. I was a fill-in DJ (early 1980's) as a teenager at the local roller skating rink. And as a young semi-professional Magician, I made all of my own soundtracks for my stage performances via vinyl to cassette. Which is why I feel, with regard to recorded vinyl music, I know what looks and sounds good, and what doesn’t.

Most of my auction items are from my personal collections, or from very close sources. I am not a professional record salesman, nor am I trying to make a living by selling books and records on ebay. I actually enjoy the ebay interaction, and the comfort of knowing that my auction items are going to someone who will appreciate them. And if I make a few bucks doing it, GREAT! My music collection is very diverse, from early Jazz such as Dave Brubeck, Cal Tjader and Shelly Manne,  to Jazz Fusion such as Spyro Gyra, Bob James, The Crusaders, Stanley Clarke, Tom Scott, Lee Ritenour, etc. My Rock and Pop collection ranges from The Beatles to Boston, America to Zebra, Neil Young to Chicago, Bruce Springsteen to Prince, Janis Joplin to Madonna, etc. My drumming background began when I first heard Rush's 2112 LP, so I have lot's of percussion laden artists to choose from. I'm a true collector of vinyl music LP's as I am still building my collection and typically sell my duplicates only.
