A real classic from the Golden Age of British freakbeat!..

Issued on Brunswick in 1965..LAT.8616..UK pressing in mono.

The matrix numbers are:..MG 10256 1B and MG 10257 1B..

The mothers and stampers are 2B H (or maybe M) and 21 B.

Play grade on this is VG..It's a bit crackly in places..This is most obvious on the track links (and if they crackle then,there is certainly crackle in the background of the rest of the album)..This is such a loud album,that whatever crackle there is,does not really interfere with the music..There are a few clicks and pops (most noticeable on "I'm A Man"),but there are no skips or jumps and overall,the sound is clean..

Visual grade is VG minus (at best)..Both sides have scuffs and hairlines..There are also one or two marks that look a bit dangerous..But it plays a LOT better than it looks (Don't forget that this was pressed by Decca and it takes a lot to damage the sound on those old Decca pressings..They built records to last!)..The disc has lost it's sheen..

The labels are free of scribble,tears,stickers etc...The text is all still legible..There is HEAVY spindle wear..This has had LOADS and LOADS of play..

 The sleeve (front laminated and made by Robert Stace) is a mess..There is a rip all the way across the front and along the bottom spine edge (these have been repaired with sellotape)..The front has discshape and laminate creases..The non laminated back has 2 tears along the opening edge (again repaired with sellotape)..It has discolouring and staining around the edges..The opening edge has a piece missing and is generally ragged..One good point:Most of the text on the spine is legible!..

All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!
